Join representatives of Clean Up The Mines! & Earthworks for a panel discussion on the toxic threat of abandoned uranium mines and the premier of a new short documentary, “America’s Secret Fukushima.” Filmed in South Dakota, this documentary speaks about the ten thousand abandoned Uranium mines that dot the United States. Leftover from the mid-1900’s ‘Uranium Rush’ when corporations walked away from them, these open mines contaminate the land, air and water, seeping into our food supply and causing cancers, birth defects and other health problems.
